New teammates. Different perspectives.

Country, regional and metro players have the opportunity to mix, share approaches and compete together. For families travelling to Sydney, it is a chance to experience a new cricket environment and make new connections.

How the player draft works

Players nominate through Century Champions League for consideration in its draft. Franchises form squads through the league process. Nominating is free; selected players pay CCL’s tournament fee. A nomination does not guarantee selection or a place with a particular franchise.

Development continues beyond the tournament

Firehawks Cricket Development offers year-round small-group coaching, individual sessions and specialist clinics. Coaching is open to players whether or not they are drafted, and does not guarantee CCL selection.

Brad Tate oversees Southern Firehawks as franchise owner. Tournament squads will be led by their team coaches, with Brad supporting the program where he can.
